Live Nightcrawlers

Live nightcrawlers are a nutritious, protein-rich food for axolotls that supports a varied diet and encourages natural feeding behavior. Their soft texture makes appropriately sized pieces easy for many axolotls to eat. Choose from multiple quantities for a single axolotl, multiple animals, or a larger breeding collection.

Keep live nightcrawlers refrigerated in their original bedding or another suitable ventilated container. Before feeding, rinse the nightcrawler with clean, dechlorinated water and cut it into appropriately sized pieces when necessary. Feed only what your axolotl can consume and remove uneaten food to help maintain aquarium water quality.
