Axolotl Start Bundle

Three Brightwell essentials for preparing water, establishing biological filtration, and ongoing bacterial maintenance. The Axolotl Start Bundle brings together one 125 mL bottle each of Erase-Cl, MicroBacter Start XLF, and FlorinBacter.

What's included

• Erase-Cl — 125 mL: water conditioner for chlorine and chloramines.
• MicroBacter Start XLF — 125 mL: freshwater nitrifying bacteria for establishing biological filtration.
• FlorinBacter — 125 mL: freshwater bacterial maintenance after cycling.

Use in three stages

1. Prepare the water. Use Erase-Cl as directed on its label before introducing the starter bacteria.
2. Cycle the empty aquarium. Use MicroBacter Start XLF according to its label. Keep your axolotl out of the tank during fishless cycling. A suitable ammonia source and water testing are required and are sold separately. Do not add another bacterial product during this stage.
3. Move to maintenance. Use maintenance bacteria only after the cycle is complete. Brightwell's Start XLF directions name FlorinBacter Clean or FlorinBacter7 after cycling and one additional week; consult the current FlorinBacter label or Brightwell before choosing this bundle's maintenance schedule. Follow the FlorinBacter label for ongoing use.

Before you begin

This is a three-product water-care bundle, not a complete aquarium setup. A filter, suitable biological media, ammonia source, and test kit are not included. Cycling time varies; bottled bacteria do not guarantee an instant cycle. Confirm the aquarium is fully cycled with water testing before introducing an axolotl. Follow every bottle's current instructions and dose for your actual water volume.
