Official Giveaway Rules
1. Sponsor
The promotion is sponsored and administered by Axolotl Superstore, Riverdale, Utah (“Sponsor”). Questions may be sent to info@axolotlsuperstore.com.
2. Entry period and follower milestone
The promotion begins August 24, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time. It ends 72 hours after the official Axolotl Superstore Facebook page first reaches 1,000 followers, or December 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time, whichever occurs first. Sponsor’s records determine the official milestone time.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the contiguous United States who are at least 18 years old and may legally possess an axolotl at their delivery address. Residents of California, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, Arkansas, the District of Columbia, and any other jurisdiction where entry, possession, shipment, or the promotion is prohibited are not eligible. Permit-dependent destinations are eligible only if all required documentation is provided before shipment. Employees and household members of Sponsor are not eligible.
4. How to enter and earn entries
No purchase necessary. Follow the official Axolotl Superstore Facebook page and submit the official entry form once. A valid entrant receives one base entry. For each unique eligible new Facebook follower who submits the form during the entry period and accurately enters the original entrant’s giveaway email in the referral field, the original entrant receives one bonus entry. The referred person also receives one base entry. Referrals made before the promotion begins, duplicate submissions, self-referrals, fake accounts, bots, purchased followers, and unverifiable referrals do not count. One base entry per person and email address.
5. Prize
One winner will receive one healthy, in-stock axolotl selected from the Sponsor’s standard available inventory, plus standard overnight live-animal shipping to one eligible address in the contiguous United States. Approximate retail value is up to $200, depending on the animal and destination. No cash alternative. The prize may not be transferred. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Animal welfare and delivery
Before shipment, the potential winner must confirm that axolotl ownership is lawful at the delivery address and demonstrate an appropriate, fully cycled aquarium or an acceptable preparation plan. The winner must be available to receive the shipment and follow Sponsor’s live-arrival and care instructions. If these requirements cannot be satisfied, another winner may be selected.
7. Winner selection and notification
Within seven days after the entry period closes, Sponsor will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entries, including valid bonus entries. The potential winner will be contacted using the submitted email address and must respond within 48 hours. Sponsor will never request payment or credit-card information to claim the prize. If the potential winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted, or does not respond in time, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
8. Verification and disqualification
Sponsor may verify Facebook follows, identities, referral relationships, eligibility, permits, and entry information. Sponsor may disqualify entries involving fraud, manipulation, harassment, inaccurate information, or conduct that undermines the promotion. Sponsor’s reasonable decisions concerning administration and eligibility are final.
9. Privacy
Information submitted is used to administer the giveaway, verify entries, contact the winner, prevent fraud, and arrange delivery. It will be handled according to the Axolotl Superstore privacy policy. Entrants are not automatically subscribed to marketing emails by entering.
10. Facebook release
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta. By entering, each participant releases Facebook and Meta from claims related to this promotion. Participants provide their information to Axolotl Superstore, not to Facebook or Meta.
11. General conditions
Void where prohibited. Sponsor may pause, modify, or cancel the promotion if fraud, technical failure, animal-welfare concerns, law, platform action, or events outside Sponsor’s reasonable control prevent fair administration. Any material change will be posted on this page.
