Florin Volcanit Rio Escuro-M by Brightwell Aquatics. Medium black volcanic substrate for planted shrimp aquariums; may lower GH and pH.

Product details

• Medium black volcanic ash substrate for freshwater shrimp, ~5mm particulate substrate.

• Natural volcanic ash with beneficial properties for aquatic plant growth and long-term care of fishes and motile invertebrates requiring slightly-acidic, low-GH water conditions.
• Binds elements that contribute to hardness, lowering general hardness and resulting in a slight acidification of alkaline water to a pH of less than 7.
• Used as a primary substrate, develops strong root systems, encourages nutrient-uptake, and maintains oxygenated roots.
• Made in the USA.
