$14.90
Florin Volcanit Rio Cafe-F by Brightwell Aquatics. Fine brown volcanic substrate for planted shrimp aquariums; may lower GH and pH.
Product details
- ~3mm particle substrate for use as a substrate in shrimp biotope aquaria.
- Natural volcanic ash with beneficial properties for aquatic plant growth and long-term care of fishes and motile invertebrates requiring slightly-acidic, low-GH water conditions.
- Binds elements that contribute to hardness, lowering general hardness and resulting in a slight acidification of alkaline water to a pH of less than 7.
- Used as a primary substrate, develops strong root systems, encourages nutrient-uptake, and maintains oxygenated roots.
- Made in the USA.
Choosing and using this product
Choose substrate for the intended planted or shrimp aquarium. These products are not presented as axolotl substrates; check their effect on pH and hardness before use.
