Orange Shrimp are peaceful, active scavengers that spend much of their day grazing on algae, biofilm, and leftover food. They are an excellent addition to planted freshwater aquariums and can also be kept as potential tank mates for axolotls.

Axolotl Tank Mate Information

Orange Shrimp can be kept with axolotls, but they may be eaten. Axolotls are opportunistic predators, and shrimp small enough to fit in their mouths should always be considered potential food.

Plants, hides, and other cover can give shrimp additional places to retreat and explore.
