This bundle takes the guesswork out of choosing compatible equipment for an axolotl aquarium. The sponge filter provides gentle filtration, the air pump maintains dependable airflow, the hide gives your axolotl a secure place to rest, and the LED light makes it easier to enjoy and maintain your aquarium.
Axolotls do not require intense lighting, so always provide a shaded hide and avoid leaving the aquarium light on continuously.
Before adding your axolotl, the aquarium must be fully cycled. Always test the water and confirm that ammonia and nitrite are at 0 ppm. Maintain a target water temperature of 65–70°F. A temperature of 72°F or higher can be dangerous and requires prompt cooling.
Just add your own tank—the filtration, lighting, water treatment, hide, food, and other setup essentials are included.
